Ron J. McCord
Ron J. McCord, CMB, is the Chairman and principal owner of First Mortgage Company, Oklahoma’s largest independently owned mortgage-banking company. First Mortgage's corporate headquarters are in Oklahoma City with origination offices in Edmond, Moore, Norman, Lawton, Tulsa, and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; as well as offices in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Boise, Idaho, Amarillo and Flower Mound, Texas and Des Moines, Iowa.
McCord has more than thirty-eight years experience in the mortgage banking industry principally with the company he owns. He is a former President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and is a member of its Board of Governors. He is also Past President and Director of the Oklahoma Mortgage Bankers Association and holds the Certified Mortgage Banker Designation (CMB), the highest professional designation in the mortgage banking industry.
McCord is active in several civic and business organizations including Advisory Director to American State Bank of Tulsa, Director and Chairman of Integris Hospital of Oklahoma Rural Foundation, member of the Oklahoma Association of Realtors Board of Trustees of the Oklahoma Housing Foundation, Statewide Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of Crossings Community Church.
